BME Formula Racing Team – Future, now

The new BME Formula Racing Team ad came out at Christmas time, directed by István Madarász, creator of the image films Budapest Business Region’s Get engaged and Hungary’s new one, World of potentials. Beside the demonstration of the construction and speed of the racing car, the video shows the potentials of the well-trained and skilled workforce of the Budapest Business Region. On Youtube the video has more than 23.000 views.
BME Formula Racing Team was founded in 2007 for the annually held Formula Student engineering competition. The first championship was held in America, in 1981 and in the past 30 years approximately 140 teams were registrated in every corner of the world. In Europe, UK, Germany, Austria and Italy organizes annually championships for the teams, and in 2010 Hungary also joined by the city of Győr.
The students’ aims are success, to improve the quality of the education, to prepare for the real life work at different companies, and to help the evolution of the dialogues between the engineers of the future and the technologists of the production. Furthermore they would like to make an outstanding example for the students and teachers of the Budapest University of Tehcnology and Hungary too.
From the similar initiations of students developes, many times before graduation, that well trained and skilled workforce, which is the key of the Budapest Business Region’s developement, reference of its national and international awarding, and provides competitive advantage on the international property market.
