Seal of Quality for the BBR image film

The Budapest Business Region image film has been awarded by the Erasmus EuroMedia Awards Comitee with the Seal of Quality.
Since 1995 EuroMedia Awards has been judging nominated media productions that are either enhancing media discourse on Europe, providing qualitative discussion of objectives, perspectives and challenges for the development of European societies, relating to European topics like cohesion, social values, migration, identity, solidarity, or showing educational ambition. “Worldwide well known names in philosophy, political science, and cultural history from different cultural and religious environment and traditions of thinking contribute to concepts of future of an open society and encourage with an impressing plea for a visionary approach to a Europe for Europeans.” said Mr Thomas A. Bauer.
In 2010 the following media creations were awarded:
- Special Award for Aesthetics & Design :Opinion Corner (interactive website, Mostra, Belgium)
- Special Award for Education & Ethics 2010 :Der 2. Weltkrieg (documentary series, ORF Redaktion Zeitgeschichte, Austria)
- Special Award for Discourse & Politics
:Liikkumavara / WithinLimits (documentary, Illume Ltd., Finland)
We are proud of an other Hungarian nomination as well. The photo database of the 1956 Institute (interactive website) made by the Institute for the History of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution won Medal of excellence.
