The British love Budapest

Budapest is a popular tourist destination among British tourists according to an article of the Metro newspaper in London. Endre Kardos, the director of the London offive of the Hungarian Tourism Zrt, confirmed the statements of the newspaper. Budapest, based on the price-value ratio, is at the top of the list of cities worth visiting.
This may be one of the main reasons why the number of tourists arriving from foggy Albion is keep increasing. The article mentions the most important sights, cultural programs and trendiest shops as well as it talks about the restaurant known about its "culinary perfection" honored by the Michelin-star: Costes.
Hungary is also a very popular destination for conferences among the British: according to the survey of the Hungarian Convention Bureau of Hungarian Tourism Zrt examining the first half of 2010, after Germany, most participants of international conferences came to our country from Great Britain (72%).
The special interest of the island country shows that Hungary and especially Budapest shows a value, by which it becomes a popular destination by international standards.
