Hungarian Exhibitors’ Opinions on MIPIM

17, March 2010

On the second day of the Cannes real estate and city development exhibition, we asked some Hungarian exhibitors who had previously taken part in MIPIM with their projects and companies to tell us about their motivations and impressions.

Balázs Korintus believes that the appearance of Duna Spirit at MIPIM is significant because the visitors will be able to see how Hungarian waterside properties can improve the standard of living; waterfront investments already have huge prestige worldwide. Péter Würschnig representing B&V International confirmed that so far MIPIM has proved to be the most effective way to keep in touch through a network and provide a means of marketing.

‘Last week a new regulation plan concerning a development in Budapest’s 9th district was accepted, which means that at this exhibition we can negotiate the concrete preparatory phases of the project with the investors.’ said Dr. Gergely Kovács Gulyás, Managing Director of DunaCity.

‘The Talentis program is not restricted by borders, and its success depends on international relationships. The message of our presence this year is that the program is working. We have now finished the first phase and opened the second development phase, for which we are seeking partners.’ declared Dr. Ernő Takács, Chairman-CEO of Talentis Group.
