City Hall Forum

6th Tuesday, October 2009

On behalf of the Capital, the City Hall Forum Project was presented this morning.

“To revitalize the city centre,  the City of Budapest implements a public-purpose development of approximately HUF 20 billion”, said Éva Beleznay Chief Architect.  “Currently, the elements of the call for development proposals are being defined; the call for proposals is expected to be published at the beginning of 2010. Public ground developments make Budapest not only a better city to live in but also more attractive for investors ", added Imre Ikvai-Szabó Deputy Mayor of the Capital.

Erick van Egeraat, Architecture Designer of the City Hall Forum Project, expressed appreciation of quality-focused solutions: this year brought along fewer yet better considered developments in Hungary.
